Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have prior dental assisting experience and be comfortable assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures while providing excellent patient care. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures Assist the dentist during examinations, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other treatments Take and process dental X-rays (in accordance with state regulations) Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked Update and maintain patient records and charts Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene guidance Manage dental supplies and inventory as needed Temporary crown fabrication Maintain a professional and friendly environment for patients Requirements Previous dental assisting experience is required High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant certification preferred X-ray certification preferred (depending on state requirements) Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to work well in a team environment Spanish language skills are a plus to help communicate with our diverse patient population
