Jose G. Chow Orthodontics is looking for an orthodontic clinical assistant to join our team! Minimum 1 year experience required as an orthodontic assistant. Duties include: - Greeting patients for their appointment - Assisting the doctor throughout adjustments, wire changes, bondings, debands, etc. - Placing spacers, fitting bands, and fitting RPEs - Scheduling patients for their next visit - Sterilizing and organizing instruments - Taking digital scans using an Itero intraoral scanner - Printing 3D models - Making Essix retainers - Taking panoramic x-rays, cephalometric x-rays, and clinical photos - Once/week lunch phone duty (will not start immediately) Qualities we are looking for: - Friendly and caring personality - Positive attitude - Organized - Good listener - Team work mentality - Fast learner with initiative - Easy going, and able to adapt to change Office hours are as follows, with your arrival 20-30 minutes prior to open: Monday 8:00AM - 3:30PM Tuesday 7:30AM - 4:45PM Wednesday 8:00AM - 4:45PM Thursday 8:00AM - 4:45PM Friday 8:00AM - 11:30AM (Non-doctor day) We would enjoy meeting with you to discuss the opportunity of welcoming you to our team.
