Duties -Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging to develop personalized treatment plans. -Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. -Use dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. -Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. -Operate dental equipment efficiently, including digital X-ray machines and dental fabrication tools, while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. -Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance workflow efficiency and patient comfort. -Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Requirements: -Valid dental license in good standing for the applicable state or region. -Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and medical imaging techniques. -Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. -Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, dental terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. -Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable; ability to work effectively with children is essential. -Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build rapport with diverse patient populations. -Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures safely and efficiently.
