Description

We are seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to support the surgeon during in-office surgical procedures and help ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities - Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures which could involve sedated patients - Take dental x-rays and ability to learn how to use the CBCT machine. - Monitor patients before, during, and after dental procedures - Maintain sterilization and infection control standards - Provide post-operative instructions and patient education Qualifications - Prior Oral Surgery Assistant experience - Experience assisting in surgeries with sedated patients - Radiology certification - CPR/BLS certification - Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards - Strong communication skills and attention to detail - Professional, calm demeanor in a surgical setting - Customer first attitude - On-site Monday – Thursday - The ability to stand on your feet for long hours at a time - Open Dental Experience is a plus Benefits - Paid time off and holidays Supportive team environment Opportunities for continued training and growth How to Apply Please submit your resume to [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info]; Attn: Luca Simmons, Director of Operations & Technology Job Type: Full-time Experience: Oral surgery: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
