We are looking for passionate, skilled and friendly Registered Dental Hygienist to become a vital part of our growing dental practice! The location is Chappaqua, New York. The schedule for the dental hygienist is 8-4 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We are looking for an individual to cover one or two of these days. The Hygienist will need to perform the following tasks. Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, take intra-oral radiographs and provide preventive treatments. Educate patients on maintaining accurate proper oral hygiene and home care. Maintain accurate medical and dental history records using both Dentrix and paper charting systems. Schedule and coordinate six-month recall appointments for patients. Follow all sterilizations and infection control protocols for instruments and equipment. The Dental Hygienist must have the following: a current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in NY state; have a proven clinical experience in dental office settings.; Ability to work with both adults and children; Knowledge of Dentrix; Strong communication and interpersonal skill.; Reliable and professional attitude.
