This is a part time position. The work days are Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00am - 5:00pm Responsibilities: Clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing. Assess treatment planning options and discuss with patient and dentist. Take and develop dental x-rays. Document dental history or chief complaint; prepare standard forms. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
