We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, excellent chairside assisting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role involves providing advanced dental assistance, supporting various specialties including endodontics, oral surgery, implant placement and must make excellent temporaries, while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient care. Requirements: * Strong knowledge of dental materials, instruments, and procedures * Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care * Professional, positive attitude with strong communication skills Responsibilities *Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including restorations, oral surgery, and endodontics with precision and professionalism. *Taking X-rays, including 3D scans *Must know Dentrix *Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control standards. *Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions. *Support general dentistry procedures with expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Experience **Minimum of 5 years dental assisting experience** *Proficiency in Dentrix *Knowledge of infection control practices *Dental assisting certifications such as EFDA credentials is required. *Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations.
