We are a privately owned, single-doctor dental practice seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. Our office is focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional and welcoming environment. Position Overview: The Insurance Verification Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely insurance verification to support a smooth patient experience and efficient front office operations. Key Responsibilities: Verify PPO dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits Accurately input and document coverage details, including co-pays, deductibles, and annual maximums Communicate insurance breakdowns clearly with patients and team members Ensure all verifications are completed ahead of scheduled appointments Follow up on outstanding or incomplete insurance information Maintain accurate records within Dentrix software Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of dental insurance verification experience (required) Strong knowledge of PPO insurance plans (required) Experience with Dentrix software (preferred) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Professional appearance and demeanor Strong communication and customer service abilities What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, privately owned practice environment Supportive, team-oriented atmosphere Opportunity to work closely with one doctor and a consistent team PTO after one year Dental Benefits If you are dependable, experienced with PPO insurance, and take pride in professionalism and accuracy, we encourage you to apply!
