Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with specialized expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and restorative procedures. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care. Utilize advanced dental technologies and imaging equipment to diagnose conditions accurately and plan effective treatments. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and safety. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver seamless patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage medical records in compliance with legal standards. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health. Stay current with industry advancements by participating in continuing education opportunities related to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current certification to practice in the designated area. Proven experience working in dental clinics or offices with proficiency in dental office management systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures is highly desirable. Proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while providing clear explanations of treatment options. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.
