Job description: About the Role We are a modern, patient-focused dental practice in the Richmond area seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. What You’ll Do: Lead and support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of procedures Oversee operatory setup, sterilization protocols, and clinical flow Train and mentor dental assistants Ensure consistency in clinical standards and patient care Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment organization Support scheduling efficiency and provider productivity Assist with advanced procedures such as restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation What We’re Looking For: Active Texas RDA license Proven experience as a dental assistant in a fast-paced environment Previous leadership or lead assistant experience preferred Strong knowledge of general, restorative, and cosmetic procedures Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Strong communication and team leadership abilities High attention to detail and accountability Preferred Experience with digital workflows and modern dental technology Experience with implants, Invisalign, or cosmetic dentistry Familiarity with Open Dental or similar software What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience (Up to $30/hr) Bonus opportunities tied to team performance Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) Supportive, team-driven environment Opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the practice Why Join Our Team We are committed to creating a workplace where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.
