We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including extractions. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage medical records using systems such as Eaglesoft. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations. Perform administrative tasks, including updating patient information and processing medical coding as needed. Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic is required. Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting. Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing excellent patient care and maintaining professionalism at all times.
