We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and help create a positive experience for patients. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Take digital dental X-rays Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a Dental Assistant program preferred Current certification/licensure as required by state regulations X-ray certification (if applicable) CPR/BLS certification preferred Previous dental assisting experience is a plus Skills and Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Proficiency or ability to learn OpenDental and basic computer skills Bilingual is a plus Work Environment: Clinical setting with exposure to dental equipment and materials Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting Benefits: Competitive pay Health insurance option Opportunities for professional development Paid time off
