We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, excellent communication skills, x-ray license and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Manage dental records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform dental imaging tasks, including X-rays, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including sterilization of instruments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols for dental documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
