You love kids — from teething toddlers to eye-rolling teenagers — and you bring the kind of positive energy that makes the whole team better. You're dependable, low-drama, and you take pride in great clinical work without needing someone to micromanage you. You've got enough experience to hit the ground running, but you're not set in your ways. What You'll Do: Assist our pediatric dentists chairside across preventive and restorative procedures Take X-rays, perform coronal polishing, and assist with nitrous oxide administration Prep and turn over operatories quickly and efficiently — we see a lot of happy patients each day Update patient charts accurately and efficiently (we use Eaglesoft) Help explain treatment plans to families clearly and with confidence Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Serve as a liaison between the front and back office to keep things running smoothly Maintain a clean, organized clinical area in full compliance with infection control standards Help create a calm, fun atmosphere for anxious kids and special-needs patients What We're Looking For: Clinical dental assisting experience (pediatric experience strongly preferred) Genuine love of working with kids — patience, playfulness, and calm under pressure Someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment without cutting corners Strong communicator — with patients, parents, and teammates alike Reliable, punctual, and professional in every interaction Eaglesoft experience a plus, but not required Required certifications: X-Ray Coronal Polishing Nitrous Oxide This is not the role for someone who prefers slow, quiet offices, minimal kid contact, or office drama :) Why You'll Love It Here Consistent Monday–Friday schedule, full-time 40 hours/week Competitive pay: $24 and up depending on experience and skill level BENEFITS: Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and employee discounts on Pedo treatment & Adult+Child Ortho at Webb & Goldsmith Orthodontics!
