We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Insurance Coordinator to join our established multi-provider practice! 🦷✨ Our practice specializes in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and Medical Esthetics, offering patients comprehensive care in a professional and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of oral surgery insurance processes, pre-authorizations, treatment coordination, and patient communication. While this role will primarily focus on insurance coordination, we are looking for someone who is also willing to support other administrative and team-oriented responsibilities as needed. Responsibilities: • Verify medical and dental insurance benefits for oral surgery procedures • Obtain pre-authorizations for surgical treatments and sedation cases • Submit and track medical and dental insurance claims • Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and appeals • Present treatment estimates and explain patient financial responsibilities • Coordinate scheduling for surgeries and treatment consultations • Maintain accurate patient records and insurance documentation • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance carriers • Assist with additional front office and team-support responsibilities as needed Qualifications: • Previous OMFS or dental specialty office experience preferred • Strong understanding of medical and dental insurance billing • Experience with pre-authorizations and surgical case coordination • Familiarity with CPT, CDT, and ICD-10 coding preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment • Experience with DSN software preferred • Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality What We Offer: • Competitive pay 💵 • Supportive, team-oriented environment 🤝 • Growth opportunities within a specialty surgical practice 📈 • Paid time off, 401(k), and additional benefits available • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care ✨ If you are organized, compassionate, dependable, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!
