Davis and Wine Dental Practice, LLC is a privately owned specialty practice with 3 Prosthodontists and 1 Periodontist. Currently we have three different locations, one in Pooler, and 2 in the Bluffton area. We are growing so, currently we are looking for a dental hygienists for all three offices. The perfect candidates will be able to complete all preventive care appointments and chart conditions as prescribed by Dentist. Pay is $50 per hour. Currently our hygiene hours are 7-3 or 8-4, your choice. Part-time or Full-time. Responsibilities: * Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis. * Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols. * Maintain instruments by sharpening and sterilizing. * Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening. * Collect medical and dental histories from patients. * Chart dental conditions in Dentrix Ascend based on dentist’s observations and evaluations. * Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care. * Take X-rays with Dentrix Ascend. Qualifications: Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred) Current state license required. Excellent verbal communication skills Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules Current CPR certification required Infection Control Use of Dentrix Ascend Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
