You will work closely with our periodontists to provide exceptional periodontal care and patient education in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities: Review daily schedules and prepare patient records Help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit Conduct periodontal screenings and review oral health histories Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Identify conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care Take dental radiographs and impressions as needed Assist periodontists in treatment planning and patient care Maintain accurate clinical documentation Ensure instruments and operatories are properly sterilized and maintained Qualifications: Current North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required) Local anesthesia certification preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, positive, and patient-focused attitude Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Experience with Denticon software is a plus Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits: $58+ per hour based on experience 401(k) Health insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Employee discounts Continuing education/professional development assistance Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Work Location: In person We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team long-term — someone who values patient care, teamwork, positivity, and building meaningful relationships within the office.
