Pay: From $70,000.00 per year + Performance Bonuses Job description: Front Office Lead – Patient Experience, Collections & OperationsEstablished Private Fee-for-Service / Out-of-Network Dental Practice — Austin, TX Location: 620 Near LAKE TRAVIS We are seeking an exceptional, experienced, high-performing Front Office Lead to help lead patient experience and front office operations at our growing private dental practice in Austin. This is not a basic receptionist position. This is a leadership-level front office role for someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently, stays organized under pressure, and understands the operational expectations of a high-performing out-of-network dental practice. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT Experience working in a fee-for-service / out-of-network dental office is REQUIRED. Candidates without strong experience handling out-of-network insurance workflows, patient financial communication, accounts receivable, and collections will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Lead front office operations and patient experience Maintain productive and efficient doctor and hygiene columns Optimize scheduling for production, flow, and patient retention Manage patient communication professionally and confidently Handle accounts receivable and past-due patient balances Follow up consistently on outstanding collections Present treatment and discuss financial arrangements with confidence Track and report weekly AR and collections metrics to leadership Coordinate scheduling, confirmations, and patient follow-up systems Help improve office systems, organization, and workflow efficiency Support practice growth initiatives and operational goals Help create a positive, organized, high-accountability office culture Compensation & Incentives Full-time salaried W-2 position Compensation equivalent to approximately $35/hour Performance-based bonuses tied to collections, scheduling efficiency, patient experience, and practice growth Strong earning potential for high performers who drive results Schedule Tuesday–Saturday ( Saturday is non clinical day)* . If you do not want to work saturday the compensation can be changed to reflect that. Consistent Saturday availability is an important part of this role and our practice growth model.
