Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Duties: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical history - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Take and develop dental x-rays as needed - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment - Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Experience: - Proficient in patient assessment techniques, including taking vital signs - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to patient privacy guidelines - Skilled in performing dental cleanings using proper aseptic techniques - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
