Full-Time or Part-Time Surgical Dental Assistant We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and upbeat Dental Assistant with extensive surgical assisting experience to join our growing dental team. This position is ideal for an experienced assistant who is confident in a fast-paced surgical environment and committed to providing exceptional patient care. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS --Current CPR and RDA certification required --Minimum of 2 years of oral surgery and/or extensive surgical assisting experience preferred --Experience assisting with extractions, impacted third molar surgery, IV sedation, and other surgical procedures strongly preferred --Must be comfortable working with adult patients --Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, instrumentation, and sterilization procedures --Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment --Excellent customer service and communication skills --Professional appearance and demeanor --Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset --Proven employment history --High school diploma or equivalent --Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required --Must be available to work 1–2 Saturdays per month RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE --Greet and prepare patients for surgical and restorative treatment --Assist the doctor during surgical procedures, including extractions and IV sedation cases --Monitor and support patients throughout surgical appointments --Obtain and present high-quality digital radiographs --Prepare, sterilize, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment --Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols --Provide patients with detailed written and verbal post-operative instructions --Maintain accurate clinical documentation --Maintain a clean, sterile, and professional treatment environment --Respect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience.
