In search of an enthusiastic, hard-working, energetic dental assistant that is available immediately! This position is a temporary position and a full-time position. The office is opened Monday-Friday (some Mondays/Fridays we are closed) and 1-2 Saturdays some months. I need YOU to be the immediate face of the practice as you greet patients. This is a fast paced, drama-free, attitude-free, and friendly environment. Duties include but are not limited to assisting the dentist with ALL dental procedures, greeting patients, seating the patients, cleaning the operatories, answering phones/calling patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, verifying insurance/benefits/pre-authorization approvals, keeping the office clean, sterilizing instruments- basically do what needs to be done! You are expected to be a self-starter that is willing to learn, accept occasional criticism, be patient-focused, and on time. I do not like to micro-manage and expect you to think for yourself and to work independently!! We are a paperless environment that uses Eagle Soft. Lazines and faking 'business' will be tolerated as we all work as a team!!! Salary is negotiable. Requirements: Certified by an accredited dental assisting program, CPR certified, x-ray certified, Hep B vaccinated. ONLY looking for assistants that have COMPLETED an accredited dental assisting program- NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
