We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. This is a full time position Monday through Thursday. Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays Employee discount On-the-job training is a possibility Uniform allowance Duties *Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and surgical dentistry treatments. *Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly using infection control and aseptic techniques. *Take dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. *Manage patient records using Eaglesoft to ensure accurate medical documentation and coding. *Monitor vital signs when necessary *Support administrative tasks by acting as a dental receptionist—scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and assisting with patient check-in/out processes. *Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by following infection control standards and ensuring all dental tools are properly sterilized. Skills -Proficiency with Eaglesoft is a plus but not a requirement. -Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with team members and patients. -Skilled in chairside assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry to enhance workflow efficiency. -Experience with X-ray procedures, including digital imaging and 3D scanners for comprehensive diagnostics. -Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. -Ability to perform vital signs assessments and support dentistry practices with patience and professionalism. -Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings.
