Position Title: Associate Dentist Employment Type: Part‑Time Schedule: 2–3 days per week, with one Saturday per month if available Location: Memphis, Tennessee About the Practice We are a privately owned, patient‑centered general dental practice serving the Memphis community. Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Associate Dentist to join our practice on a part‑time basis. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing comprehensive general dentistry. Proficiency in molar root canals and surgical extractions is required. This role is well‑suited for a dentist who values a steady schedule, a well‑organized practice, and a positive, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including examinations, restorative procedures, molar endodontics, surgical extractions, prosthodontics, and emergency care Develop clear, evidence‑based treatment plans and communicate them effectively to patients Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and charting Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient daily operations Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards Contribute to a professional, respectful, and patient‑focused practice culture Required Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Active Tennessee dental license (or ability to obtain) Current CPR/BLS certification Demonstrated proficiency in molar root canals and surgical extractions Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in general dentistry Excellent interpersonal, communication, and chairside manner Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience in a private practice setting Comfort treating a wide range of patient demographics Interest in long‑term professional growth within the practice Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation structure (daily minimum and/or percentage‑based production) Flexible part‑time scheduling Supportive team environment with modern equipment and digital technology Opportunities for continuing education and professional development
