About the Position We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is confident, compassionate, and enjoys being part of a team. You'll work closely with our dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care while helping keep the office running smoothly. Responsibilities include: Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and instruments Taking and developing dental X-rays as permitted by training and state requirements Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment Preparing patients for treatment and helping them feel comfortable Providing post-treatment instructions and patient support Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment Keeping treatment rooms stocked and prepared for the day Communicating with the front desk and other team members Helping wherever needed to keep our busy office running efficiently The Person We're Looking For Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is kind, personable, reliable, and a team player. The ideal candidate is: Warm and friendly with patients Compassionate and reassuring, especially with nervous patients Dependable and takes pride in their work Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Organized and able to multitask A positive person who is willing to jump in and help A strong communicator Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team Professional, but also able to have fun and enjoy the people they work with Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are open to the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
