Dental Assistant Location: Hoover Alabama Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday - Thursdays 8:15am-5:30pm Pay: $18-$21 About the Position We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a team environment, and is committed to maintaining a professional and welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures. Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations. Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control procedures. Take and record patient medical and dental histories. Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Help with scheduling, patient flow, and other front-office duties as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Provide compassionate, professional patient service. Qualifications: Dental assisting experience preferred. Dental Assistant certification/registration as required by state regulations. Current CPR/BLS certification preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
