We are looking for the right person to join our team! Gallagher Orthodontics is a privately-owned and family-oriented orthodontic practice located in Spicewood (on the Border of Lakeway and Bee Cave). We are currently seeking an additional Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic person with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. As an Orthodontic Assistant you are an integral member of our team who is responsible for the day to day task of the patient flow. In addition to normal assistant duties, the candidate must be able to take X-rays, intra-oral photographs and do intra-oral 3D scanning. 3D printing is done in the office and this position will involve learning the process and assisting with making retainers and aligners using 3D printing techniques. Aspects of the position include: Direct Orthodontic patient care: Preparing for and placing braces, taking records, changing archwires, delivering and managing Clear Aligners (Invisalign), helping keep office clean and stocked, and making clear retainers using 3D model printing. Strong organizational skills Patient and family confidentiality Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Exceptional phone skills Ability to relate well to adults, teenagers, and children Marketing events & Community involvement This is a full-time or Part Time position.
