Come join our team at Glynn Dental! Overview: We are a small, privately owned dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice offers a Monday–Thursday schedule with NO FRIDAY OR WEEKEND hours, competitive pay, excellent benefits (available upon hiring, NO 90-day waiting period), and a positive, professional work environment. Paid Time Off — 4 Hours Earned Each Month; Unused PTO Paid Out at the End of the Year 1 Week Paid Vacation Earned After 1 Year of Employment Monthly Bonus Opportunities Simple IRA With Up to 3% Employer Matching Six Paid Holidays Annually Monday–Thursday Schedule No Fridays or Weekends Responsibilities: *Provide efficient, high-quality chairside assistance, anticipating doctor's next step *Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment prior to patient arrival *Obtain dental radiographs and digital images as directed by Dr. Glynn *Monitor sedation patients, including those receiving Nitrous Oxide (N2O) *Accurately & timely document treatment and patient information in Dentrix chart *Perform proper sterilization, disinfection, and infection-control procedures *Maintain a clean, organized, and adequately stocked clinical environment *Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and practice protocols *Assist fellow team members throughout the practice during downtime and as needed *Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience High school diploma or equivalent required Current Dental Radiographer Certificate required Current CPR certification required Dentrix PMS experience Nitrous Monitoring (Certificate of Completion) DANB or CODA Certification preferred, but not required. Core Competencies: *Exceptional Clinical Dental Assisting Skills/Knowledge *Vast Knowledge of Dental Procedures/Instruments/Materials *Consistently Maintains Accurate Chart Documentation *Professional Communication and Attitude With Staff and Patients *Efficient Time Management *Dependable & Strong Attendance History *Efficiently Fabricate Temporary Dental Crowns/Bridges to Patient Satisfaction *Adapts to Patient Flow and Schedule with Positive Response We are looking for a team member who: *Is punctual and dependable, maintaining a minimum 98% attendance standard. *Maintains a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor. *Treats patients, coworkers, and management with courtesy and respect. *Follows HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and practice policies. *Takes initiative and looks for ways to contribute without waiting to be asked. *Is willing to assist other team members and help with appropriate tasks throughout the practice during downtime. *Contributes to a positive workplace culture and supports team morale. *Takes pride in providing excellent patient care and representing Glynn Dental professionally, even while out in the community.
