Dental Assistant Job Posting

We are a privately owned pediatric dental practice in the Steele Creek area. We are seeking a strong candidate to join our team as a full-time dental assistant that shares our passion for excellent dentistry, and high-quality customer service. Our ideal candidate is motivated and cheerful, with excellent communication skills that allow you to build rapport with our patients and their families. Duties to Expect: • Work chair-side to assist dentist in examining and treating patients • Sterilize and clean the instruments used to provide our patients with top quality care • Maintain strict compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA) • Prepare treatment area for patient by following procedures and protocols • Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating the patient and their families • Perform dental infection control procedures • Take x-rays • Hand off patient at check -out • Assist in managing and controlling supply inventory • Maintain safe and clean working environment • Other duties as assigned ***Dependability is a must for this position.*** This is a full time position, working four days a week. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. We work one partial Friday a month, and will have a rotating day off during that week to maintain 4 working days.
