Join Our Team! We are an established private practice in General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry in (northwest) Houston, TX. Seeking skilled and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (make sure your license is current) to join our team. Candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, competent, capable, FLEXIBLE and a team player with a professional attitude. Job responsibilities include preparing and cleaning treatment rooms; escorting patients to the back and returning them to check-out; sterilizing instruments; stocking operatories; updating patient records; assisting; suctioning; and taking x-rays. Candidate must have some experience with Dentrix. This open position is for a FLEXIBLE Dental Assistant that will work as a FLOATER with the back-office team. The back-office team consists of Two Doctors, Three Dental Assistants, Two Hygienist and a dedicated Hygiene Dental Assistant. Your day-to-day work responsibilities will depend on the workload and the prioritized need for each day. Candidate that is bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus. Pay range is between $15-18 an hour depending on experience and capability. Average work week is 32 hours a week. Candidate's travel time to and from the Dental Office should not be more than 30 minutes. Lakewood Dentistry operates at an accelerated pace as compared to most dental offices.
