About the Role

Smile NRH is looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Assistant to join our amazing team! We are a privately owned general dental practice that takes pride in providing high-quality, personalized care to our patients. We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and compassionate RDA who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a positive, supportive team. The ideal candidate is confident chairside, has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to provide an exceptional patient experience. Primary Responsibilities: -Assist the doctor chairside with a variety of procedures, including fillings, crown and bridge, extractions, root canal treatment, and other restorative procedures. -Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for patient care. -Take digital X-rays, intraoral photographs, and iTero digital scans. -Make temporary crowns. -Chart procedures and accurately document treatment in the patient's record. -Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories according to infection-control protocols. -Provide patients with a warm, comfortable, and positive experience throughout their visit. -Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories. -Assist with front-office duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient questions. -Work collaboratively with the entire team to keep the office running efficiently and provide excellent patient care. Required Qualifications: -Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas -Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience -Current BLS certification -Current X-ray certification -Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with Open Dental -Experience with iTero scanning -Experience making temporary crowns -Experience assisting with a variety of general and restorative dental procedures -Strong communication and interpersonal skills Schedule, Pay & Benefits: -Hours: Monday–Thursday from 8:00 am–5:30 pm (no evenings or weekends). -Competitive pay based on experience -4-day work week -Paid holidays -Paid time off (PTO) -Paid sick time -Continuing education opportunities -Bonus potential -Supportive and encouraging work environment About Smile NRH: Smile NRH is a privately owned general dental practice located in the rapidly growing North Richland Hills area.
