About the Role
League City Elite Dentistry is looking for a friendly, dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level or newer dental assistant who is eager to learn, enjoys interacting with patients, and is confident taking high-quality diagnostic X-rays.
This position will have primary responsibility for our Diagnosis Column, where we see new patients, emergency exams, post-op visits, and other diagnostic appointments. You will play an important role in making sure patients are comfortable, prepared, and fully worked up before the doctor enters the room.
What You'll Do
- Take high-quality FMX, panoramic, intraoral pictures, full mouth scans and other diagnostic X-rays
- Prepare the operatory and patient so the doctor can move efficiently into the examination
- Assist the doctor with restorative and other dental procedures as needed
- Process, sterilize, and organize instruments and treatment rooms
- Set up and break down operatories
