About the Role
As our practice is growing, we are in search of a full time, expanded duties dental assistant to add to our team!
Experience: 2 yrs+ preferred
Compensation: $20/hr & up, depending on experience
Days: 4

Base/Required Skills:
* Proficient in assisting all dental procedures, such as - fillings, crown & bridge, EXT, and RCT.
* Take good & diagnostics x-rays
* Must have experience with digital scanning
* Capable of multi-tasking, being efficient, staying on time
* Have a good understanding of dentistry in order to take thorough notes during NP exams and to answer patients' questions & concerns unassisted
* Quick learner & takes direction well
* Perform basic front desk duties, ie - answers calls & schedule appts. This will be an expanded duties position, when needed
Other Skills:
* Experience with ZOOM Whitening (placing barriers unassisted)
* Being a creative thinker & social media savvy

What You'll Do
- Assist Doctor's schedule
- Assist Hygiene - charting; seating patients & taking x-rays to facilitate flow of schedule
- Maintenance of equipment & sterilization, lab cases, supplies inventory
- Front Desk - check-in (take payment, consents) & check-out patients (present TP, make next appt), take phone calls when busy
- Misc - contact patients when we are slow and/or not busy, misc. tasks when needed around office
What You'll Bring
Required
- At least 1 year experience as an RDA
- Experience in digital scanning (ie - iTero)
- Reliable, good communication skills, and good attention to detail
- Adaptable - as a team member to facilitate the office as a whole, and in the clinical setting when assisting and seeing patients
Preferred
- Experience in both fast and slower paced offices, corporate and private practices
