Local Dental is a private, family-focused dental practice looking for a friendly, dependable, and positive Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. What You'll Do
- Assist our doctors with general and specialty dental procedures
- Prepare and turn over operatories
- Take diagnostic-quality radiographs
- Perform digital scans
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Follow proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
- Organize instruments and supplies
- Help keep the clinical side of the office running efficiently
What You'll Bring
Required
- Current Texas RDA certification
- Friendly, caring, and professional with patients
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance/punctuality
- Organized and able to keep operatories, supplies, and clinical workflow running smoothly
- Confident taking high-quality dental radiographs
- Good clinical documentation and record keeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to anticipate the doctor's needs and work efficiently
- Comfortable learning and using dental technology
Preferred
- Coronal Polishing Certification
- Experience with iTero or TRIOS digital scanning
- Experience with Open Dental
- Previous dental assisting experience
