Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Pediatric Dental Office
Bloom + Brighten Kids Dentistry | Tualatin, OR
Full-Time | $26–$29 per hour

Competitive Compensation: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Chairside pediatric assisting during clinical and specialized procedures
Performing expanded duties in strict accordance with Oregon regulations
Capturing dental radiographs (RHS required)
Treatment room preparation, instrument sterilization, and maintaining strict OSHA/CDC safety standards
Managing digital patient records using practice management software (Open Dental preferred)
Creating a comforting, fun, and safe environment for patients and their parents
Qualifications
Certifications: Oregon EFDA Certification, RHS (Radiology) Certification, and BLS/CPR Certification
Experience: 1–3 years of pediatric dental assisting experience OR graduation from an accredited DA program
Software: Open Dental experience is a major plus
Skills: Excellent patient communication, gentle demeanor with children, and a positive, collaborative mindset

She specializes in whole-body, functional root-cause dentistry and pediatric sleep/airway health.
Dr. Lisa Kispert, DDS: A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and former Assistant Professor at OHSU and Doernbecher Children's Hospital for 13 years, where she specialized in hospital dentistry and caring for patients with special healthcare needs.
Dr. Jenette Intrachat, DDS: An OHSU-trained pediatric dentist and passionate mentor who specializes in custom, comfortable care plans that empower families, reduce cavity risk, and ease dental anxiety.
Dr. Audrey Mikkelson, DMD, MSD ('Dr. Mikkey'): A Master of Science in Dentistry and former Assistant Professor at the University of Washington who blends science, art, and fun to make every pediatric visit an enjoyable experience.

Her deep expertise in hospital dentistry and care for children with special healthcare needs ensures that every patient—no matter their background or challenges—receives the attention and support they deserve.
Dr. Jenette Intrachat is known for her patient-centered philosophy and her talent for creating comfortable, customized care plans. She is deeply committed to helping families prevent cavities, ease dental anxiety, and feel empowered in their children’s oral health journey. Her mentoring spirit also helps guide newer dentists to deliver the highest standard of compassionate care.
