About the Role
Join an established general dental practice in Monroe where you’ll be an important part of helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their dental care. We are looking for an experienced dental front desk team member to join us 2 days per week.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, presenting treatment plans, and working as part of a friendly, team-oriented dental office. Our days offer a mix of patient interaction, treatment coordination, scheduling, and general front office responsibilities.
We’re looking for someone who already has dental office experience and can bring their skills to the position while becoming a valued part of our team.
Responsibilities include:
Presenting and reviewing treatment plans with patients
Scheduling treatment and maintaining a productive schedule
Patient check-in and check-out
Answering phones and assisting patients with scheduling
Collecting and posting patient payments
Discussing financial arrangements and treatment estimates
Confirming appointments
Scanning and maintaining patient documents
Tracking lab cases
General dental front office duties as needed
We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, comfortable communicating with patients, and able to work well as part of a team.
This is a part-time position, approximately 2 days per week. Please submit your resume if interested.
What You'll Do
- Present treatment plans to patients, review treatment estimates, discuss financial arrangements, and help patients schedule recommended treatment.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out, including collecting and posting payments and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while helping maintain an organized and productive schedule.
- Answer phones and communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and general questions.
- Coordinate patient care and treatment, including following up on unscheduled treatment and tracking lab cases.
- Perform general dental front office duties, including scanning documents, updating patient information, and working within Open Dental practice management software.
