Position Summary: Divine Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk, Patient Care, and Insurance Coordinator who can manage core front-office responsibilities with minimal supervision. Required Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of dental front-office experience performing most of the following duties. 1] Dental insurance verification and detailed benefit breakdowns 2] Patient scheduling and appointment coordination 3] Treatment-plan preparation and presentation 4] Patient financial arrangements and payment collection 5] Dental insurance claims and account follow-up 6] Specialist referrals and follow-up 7] Dental software and electronic patient records 8] Daily front-desk operations with minimal supervision Primary Responsibilities: 1] Greet patients professionally and provide a five-star patient experience. 2] Answer calls, respond to patient questions, and schedule appointments with urgency. 3] Verify eligibility, deductibles, annual maximums, frequencies, waiting periods, downgrades, missing-tooth clauses, and applicable limitations. 4] Contact insurance companies when a detailed benefit breakdown is required. 5] Enter insurance benefits accurately and estimate patient copayments. 6] Prepare and present treatment plans clearly and confidently. 7] Educate patients about recommended treatment and support timely case acceptance. 8] Obtain signed treatment plans, consent forms, and financial agreements. 9] Discuss payment options and process Cherry and CareCredit applications. 10] Collect patient payments and accurately post transactions to accounts and ledgers. 11] Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims, attachments, denials, and outstanding balances. 12] Coordinate specialist referrals and confirm completion of recommended care. 13] Coordinate patient discharge and follow-up with the clinical team. 14] Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidentiality under HIPAA. 15] Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to maintain efficient patient flow. 16] Keep the reception area and front office clean, organized, and professional. Minimum Qualifications: 1] At least 18 years old 2] High school diploma or equivalent 3] Minimum one year of dental front-office experience 4] Working knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, treatment plans, and patient accounts 5] Intermediate-to-advanced computer skills 6] Strong communication, organization, math, and customer-service skills 7] Ability to manage responsibilities independently and accurately 8] Reliable transportation 9] Dependable attendance and availability during required clinic hours 10] Strongly Preferred: - Active Texas RDA registration or previous dental-assisting experience - Bilingual English/Spanish - Experience with Open Dental, Flex, Cherry, and CareCredit - Experience presenting restorative, Aligners, implant, and periodontal treatment - Experience managing dental claims, aging reports, denials, and insurance follow-up Schedule: - Full-time - Day shift - Monday through Friday - Alternate Saturdays per month from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Note: Employees scheduled to work Saturday will receive the corresponding Wednesday off) - Candidates must be available for the practice’s required schedule. Important Application Requirement: 1) This is not an entry-level or trainee position. Applicants must have at least one year of recent, hands-on experience working in the front office of a dental practice. General receptionist or customer-service experience alone does not satisfy this requirement. 2) Please apply only if you have at least one year of direct dental front-office experience.
