Dental Hygienist (RDH) Job Posting

Primary responsibilities include: Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy Perform periodontal screenings and charting Take dental X-rays and intraoral images Apply fluoride, sealants, and other preventive treatments as appropriate Educate patients about oral hygiene and home-care routines Identify and document signs of gum disease, decay, and other oral health concerns Review medical and dental histories Communicate patient findings and concerns with the dentist Maintain accurate and timely clinical records Follow infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, and office safety procedures Create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient Work as a team with the dentist and other staff members Help promote overall oral health and encourage patients to maintain regular dental visits Most importantly: An RDH is an educator, preventive-care provider, and an important part of helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile.
