What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during a variety of general and specialty dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
- Take quality digital X-rays and intraoral images
- Take impressions and digital scans as needed
- Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and practice safety standards
What You'll Bring
Required
- * Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification * Current CPR/BLS certification * Dental X-ray certification/qualification * Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization * Excellent communication and patient-care skills * Dependable, punctual, professional, and organized * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude * Comfortable assisting chairside with general dental procedures * Willingness to learn and take initiative
Preferred
- * 1+ years of dental assisting experience * Experience with oral surgery, endodontics, crowns/bridges, implants, and orthodontics * Experience with digital impressions/scanning * Experience making temporary crowns and bridges * Familiarity with dental practice-management software * Bilingual English/Spanish * Experience with Invisalign or traditional orthodontics * Coronal polishing or additional dental certifications * Experience in a busy multi-provider practice
