Full or Part time Job Posting

TLC Dental Care
Job Description
About the Role
Are you a dental hygienist who would like Full or Part Time work with enough time to actually take care of your patients? We may be the office you're looking for.
TLC Dental Care is a small, privately owned Knoxville practice looking for an RDH to join our team.
We're looking for a hygienist who likes people, takes pride in excellent clinical care, enjoys educating patients, and wants to be an important part of a small dental team. Someone curious is even better. If you learn something new that could improve the way we care for patients, we want to hear about it.
We're not looking for someone to simply 'clean teeth.' We're looking for a hygienist who wants to be a healthcare provider, a patient advocate, and a valued member of our team.
If that sounds like the kind of dentistry you want to practice, we'd really like to meet you.
TLC Dental Care – Knoxville, TN
About the Practice
TLC Dental Care is an established, privately owned dental practice in Knoxville, Tennessee. We believe excellent dentistry starts with prevention, education, and developing long-term relationships with the people we care for.
Our approach goes beyond simply treating teeth. We emphasize the connection between oral and systemic health and routinely screen our patients for periodontal disease, oral pathology/oral cancer, airway health, and caries, as well as other conditions that may affect their health and well-being. We use modern technology and evidence-based care while never losing sight of the person sitting in the chair.
We are a small team, which means every team member is important. We value clinical judgment, good communication, curiosity, kindness, and people who are willing to contribute ideas about how we can do things better.
Many of our patients have been part of our practice for years, and we want them to feel that they are cared for by people who genuinely know them.
For our team, our goal is equally simple: create a professional, supportive workplace where excellent people have the tools, time, and autonomy to work with minimal stress and drama—so we can all enjoy coming to work.
What You'll Do
- Provide thorough patient care with one hour for adult hygiene appointments and 30 minutes for children
- Educate patients and develop relationships
- Identify and address disease early to prevent future dental needs
