As for the job description, if you have ever worked the front desk of a dental office, you know what to expect. Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and a working knowledge of DENTRIX would be a tremendous asset because most of the following responsibilities revolve around the dental program we use.
Greeting and checking out patients, answering the phones, making and changing appointments, data entry of all patientand#39;s information, getting insurance breakdowns along with plan-specific info, discussing treatment plans, making financial arrangements, submitting claims and pre-dand#39;s, receiving patient and ins payments, handling the daily mail, communicating with specialists, scanning documents, closing out the day, month, and year on the computer, and monthly billing. I know that there is more to this list, but I donand#39;t want to overwhelm you! Those of you that are experienced will understand, and those of you that are not need to know that running a dental front desk takes a lot of skill and talent. Is that you? I look forward to reading your resume.
