The following are the responsibilities for the position:
Provide superior patient care and service; exhibit outstanding service and hospitality as well as chair side manner.
Engage with patients in person, on the phone, via text, or email.
Take radiographs of patients using our radiographic equipment.
Stay on schedule as much as possible to help lessen patient wait time, help manage patient flow, maintain time flexibility for patients; be present, engaged, and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
Educate patients on customized oral hygiene instructions, health, disease as well as procedures and services; establish and communicate continued care.
Applying preventative materials to the teeth such as fluoride and sealants.
Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients’ chart.
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
Chart and diagnose different periodontal conditions with each patient. Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients’ charts.
Take and record patients’ blood pressure accurately. Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays.
Work with general dentist to create a comprehensive personalized treatment plan focused on achieving optimal oral health for each patient.
Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning in other areas of the office.
Assist with other office duties as requested or needed.
The following are the qualifications for the position:
Valid and Active Dental Hygienist License and CPR Certification
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Bilingual preferred
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Ability to work well with others
Knowledge of all company policies and rules once trained
Ability to work Monday- Thursday 7:45-5:00 and Friday 7:45 – 1:00 (with one-hour lunches)
Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay rate: $36 - $42 hourly DOE
