In exchange, you will work with a large & FUN hygiene team made up of a dedicated Hygiene Coordinator, Hygiene Assistants and a team of 50 professionals to assist you! This kind of support means our hygienists can focus on their patient's health while knowing the support team is keeping their schedules full and tending to all other aspects of a patient's visit. We pride ourselves on a culture that promotes personal & professional growth in a positive and fun atmosphere. <strong><em>Voted Best of Omaha & Omaha Choice Awards</em></strong></p><p>Learn more about us at www.premiersmile.com</p><p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Provide superior patient care and service; exhibit outstanding customer service and hospitality as well as chair side manner.</li><li>Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment</li><li>Perform a wellness scan with an itero</li><li>Perform bacteria reduction with an initiated and uninitiated laser tip (training provided if certification not already held)</li><li>Stay on schedule as much as possible to create no patient wait time; help manage patient flow; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.</li><li>Educate patient on oral hygiene, health, disease as well as procedures and services; establish/communicate continued care.</li><li>Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants</li><li>Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients chart.</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance</li><li>Perform the following duties as applicable by practice and/or state laws:</li><li>Screen for Oral Cancer</li><li>Take and record patients’ blood pressure accurately</li><li>Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays</li><li>Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients chart</li><li>Assist with other office duties as requested or needed</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Registered Dental Hygienist with a current NE license</li><li>Current CPR Certification</li><li>Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Close attention to detail</li><li>Strong ability to prioritize and manage time in a busy environment</li><li>Thrives in a team-based environment</li></ul><p>Contact Karla Stocker at <u>careers@premiersmile.com</u> </p><p>Office: ([sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info], Cell: ([sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info]/p><p></p>DentalPost gives you the data, guidance and information you need to be the most successful in your dental career.
