Duties include: Greeting patients and helping to make the family comfortable Reviewing and updating patients medical histories Providing basic coronal polishing Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-ray certification preferred) Reviewing oral hygiene instructions and diet/nutrition habits Assisting the dentist in restorative procedures Preparing and sterilizing instruments according to protocol Breaking down, sterilizing and setting up operatories Charting and documenting oral conditions and dental treatment
