Associate Dentist

*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care, and medical documentation, as well as proficiency in various dental software systems.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs and develop treatment plans.
* Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and aftercare.
* Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.
* Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous education.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with related procedures is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
* Ability to perform root canal therapy and other advanced dental procedures.
* Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

WE'RE HIRING AN RDH!We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality oral care, patient education, and preventative services. You will work closely with our dentists and support staff to ensure every patient receives the best care possible in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments, Take dental X-rays, Conduct oral cancer screenings and assess periodontal health, Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, and post-operative care, Review and update patient medical and dental histories, Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the practice management system, Apply sealants, Maintain a clean and sterile environment following infection control protocols, Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care, Stay current with continuing education and professional development
Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in West Virginia, Current CPR/BLS certification, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Knowledge of dental software (Eaglesoft) is a plus, Commitment to patient care, professionalism, and teamwork
