Candidate must be enthusiastic, compassionate, with the ability to multi task, and possess excellent organization and communication skills. Dentrix and dental insurance experience are required!
Our Dental Front Office team serve as representatives of our office. As the first person that a patient speaks to, they play an extremely important role in establishing the patient’s relationship with the office. In addition, they are critical to ensuring the operations of our dental office run smoothly so that we can provide the best patient care and dental treatment possible.
The Responsibilities of our Dental Front Office Coordinators Include:
• Greeting patients as they arrive and answering the phones
• Scheduling and cancelling patient appointments
• Dental Charting and Treatment Planning
• Completing and filing insurance forms and dental billing records
• Translating dental services into proper billable codes
• Managing office inventory and supplies
• Handling test results including x-rays
• Liaison to referring partners within the dental profession
• Coordinating with dental laboratory services and managing incoming and outgoing cases
• Office duties including document filing, scanning, and creation
Necessary Skills Include:
• Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Organization, time management and multitasking abilities
• Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office
• An understanding of dental office procedures and workflow
• Familiarity with dental software
• Dental and insurance reimbursement procedures
• Dental charting and treatment planning
