*What You’ll Do*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
* Assess patient’s oral health, record vital signs, review medical histories, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
* Take and interpret dental X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy habits.
* Prepare and maintain treatment rooms using proper aseptic and infection control procedures in compliance with OSHA standards.
* Review, document, and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems.
* Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient care, and infection control protocols.
* Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is essential for efficient record management.
* Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health practices.
* Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist from an accredited program is mandatory; licensure must be current according to state regulations.
