Description

We are looking for a full or part-time General Anesthesiologist who is board certified or board eligible to join our dental family. We are a growing organization supporting dental practices around 8 states, mostly pediatric, general, and orthodontic dentistry in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Mississippi. Established in 2015, we started with 3 offices and now we’re up to 53 offices and we have a good growth plan, but we are looking to grow the right way. We are striving to change the DSO landscape and be different than many DSOs out there. We pride ourselves on our mission statement and core values which govern our practice model. You would want someone who is board eligible or board certified by the ADBA. They would need to have active BLS/ACLS/PALS. They would need to be comfortable treating pediatric patients. You are seeking someone who is comfortable with nasal intubations and in-office GA.   For MD you would need an unencumbered MD degree and completion of an anesthesia residency. You want someone who is board eligible or board certified by the ABA. They would need to have an active BLS/ACLS/PALS. They would need to be comfortable treating pediatric patients. You are seeking someone who is comfortable with nasal intubations and in-office GA. * Minimum 2-Years of Experience preferred * Graduate of a hospital affiliated school of Anesthesia approved by the American Association of Anesthetists. * Must be BLS certified and is required to maintain certification * Must be ACLS certified and is required to maintain certification * Qualified CRNAs must be able to provide general anesthesia. * Induce anesthesia. * Maintain anesthesia at the required levels. * Support line functions during the period in which anesthesia is administered. * Recognize and take appropriate corrective action for abnormal patient responses to anesthesia, to any adjunctive medication or other form of therapy. * Provide professional observation and resuscitative care until the patient has regained control of his vital functions. * Provide emergency resuscitative skills in “Code Blue” situations throughout the hospital or practice. * Provide post anesthetic evaluations.   Responsibilities:   * Evaluating patients’ vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors * Working with a medical team to design a patient’s treatment plan * Supervising nurses when they administer anesthesia to patients before procedures * Monitoring vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed * Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing, and vital signs * Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness * Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses   Qualifications   * Proficient knowledge of various medications and their uses * Extensive knowledge of physiological and organ support techniques to use during surgical procedures * Ability to remain calm and focused during procedures * Highly detail-oriented to design treatment plans and keep accurate records * Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly to medical teams and patients * Compassion with patients who may be experiencing pain or discomfort To apply for this position, please use the following URL: https://ars2.equest.com/?response_id=6ef1467be8d04f5259a294b3c9478398
