We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Dental Front Office Staff Member. Responsibilities: Patient Reception: Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, both in person and over the phone. Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of the dentist's time. Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits to accurately determine co-pays and coverage details. Billing and Payments: Process patient billing and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Patient Records Management: Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. Office Coordination: Assist with office coordination tasks such as managing supplies, handling mail, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and the dental team, providing clear and effective communication regarding appointments, treatment plans, and financial matters. Qualifications: Previous Experience: Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients and colleagues. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for maintaining patient records and processing billing information. Team Player: Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed. Computer Proficiency: Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and experience with Open Dental and/or Vyne is a plus. Expectations: Professionalism: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with patients and colleagues. Confidentiality: Respect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information. Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in attendance and completion of duties. Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in the dental field.
