Description

We are a growing busy orthodontic office looking for a full-time Orthodontic Assistant whose passion is providing a 5-star customer service experience and making things happen. We are looking for a multi-tasking Superstar! Responsibilities will include providing superior patient care, assisting the doctor, prepping patients for brackets and bands, adjustments, taking digital x-rays, pictures, and impressions using an Itero scanner, and general knowledge of braces and Invisalign, and OSHA and HIPAA compliance. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are a must. Our ideal candidate must be a team player, be fun and outgoing, be dependable and punctual, and be able to make our patients feel appreciated and loved! One year of dental experience is required. Skills: - Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting required -Minimum of 1 year orthodontic assisting preferred - Proficient in taking and developing dental x-rays - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for orthodontic appliances is a plus - Strong assisting skills, including the ability to anticipate the orthodontist's needs during procedures - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment - Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation - Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures - Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, such as appointment scheduling and medical coding Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
