Position: Registered Dental Assistant Monday-Wednesday Thursday is an optional day We are looking for an experienced dental assistant who is: kind, responsible, respectful and honest. A person that has excellent communication skills, comfortable relating to others, self motivated and shows initiative. Proven experience as dental assistant. Must be punctual, dependable and motivated. Position requires minimum of 3-5 years of consistent dental assisting experience. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort * Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed * Sterilize instruments according to regulations * Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry * Undertake lab tasks as instructed * Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions * Keep the dental rooms clean and well-stocked * Schedule appointments * Chart and prepare proposed treatment * Maintain accurate patient records * Understanding of health & safety regulations * Excellent communication and people skills * Attention to detail * Well-organized and reliable. Monday - Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Lunch: 12:00pm-1:00pm
